ABOUT
ARYAN SINGH

Aryan was born in New Delhi, far from the glitz and glamour of the showbiz world. His father had big dreams for him to act and model, but as a shy kid, Aryan wasn’t interested. Despite being enrolled in theatre groups, he never took the stage, and eventually, his father let go of that dream. Everything changed for Aryan when he received a USB drive from his cousin, packed with American sitcoms and cult classic films. This became a turning point in his life—he fell in love with the art of cinema and began dreaming of becoming an actor every single night.

As Aryan grew older, he realized that while he loved acting, his true passion lay in cinema itself.  Even if he wasn’t acting all the time, he wanted to be as close to the filmmaking process as possible. During the COVID pandemic, when the world was on pause, Aryan discovered a new interest in writing films. He began reading screenplays and watching tutorials to learn how to turn his creative ideas into proper scripts. After years of honing his craft, Aryan completed his first short film script in 2024, now in production.

Career

Aryan began his journey in the entertainment industry as a casting assistant at Mukesh Chhabra  Casting Company. Over three years, he played a key role in casting for notable films like Dunki and Saina, as well as more than 30 advertisements for major brands such as Cadbury Oreo, Cadbury 5  Star, Jio, and Flipkart.

In 2022, Aryan’s acting career took off with his debut on Amazon Prime’s Crash Course. Aryan has  also appeared in commercials for brands like Coca-Cola, Vivo, and Close Up.

Currently, Aryan is balancing his time between auditioning as an actor and honing his skills as a scriptwriter and researcher. Under the guidance of Manish Hariprasad, he is actively involved in developing three exciting projects—one centered around Indian mythology and two web shows that are currently in the works.

PORTFOLIO

Crash Course

At 19, shooting in front of 200 people was both intimidating and exhilarating. I wasn’t a trained actor; everything I knew, I had learned from watching films.

Close Up Ad

The second ad I did was for Close Up toothpaste, but unfortunately, it never got released. I shot the brand scene in front of a green screen, which was a new and somewhat challenging experience for me. Despite that, it turned out to be a crazy and memorable adventure.

Vivo Ad

This was my first ad for Vivo. The brief was simple—just be the guy cutely admiring his crush and sending her emoticons to express what’s in his heart. It was a fun and light-hearted role that really captured that feeling of young love.

Coca-Cola Ad

Audition was for “Dil Dosti Dilemma”

This audition was for “Dil Dosti Dilemma,” an Amazon Prime production. I performed it exactly as the director envisioned for the show. She was so impressed that she called me afterward to offer me a role. However, she later offered me a different part than I had auditioned for, and I later had to decline it.

Crash Course Trailer

This teaser gives a quick look at my character and the journey ahead. Find out more on Amazon prime Crash course.

Audition

This was a film by Rajkumar Hirani Productions, one of the biggest production houses in India. They were seeking a fresh face for the project, which was in Rajasthani. To get the dialect right, I watched several movies and web series in Rajasthani.

Crash Course Poster

Seeing myself on the poster for my first show felt unreal, like a dream come true. It was a big moment, but I also learned a lesson when the producer scolded me for not maintaining my character’s look in the poster. It was a reminder of the importance of staying true to the role, even in the smallest details.
